Hilda has a rather odd looking grain elevator unlike any I’ve seen before. It’s got this long and narrow shape, flat at the top and I don’t believe I’ve come across any other Paterson elevators. Hilda is a bit out of the way from Calgary, but not quite as remote as say Esther. Nicely paved roads all the way to the elevator almost. Just a short hop over to Acadia Valley (excellent Alberta Wheat Pool grain elevator preserved as a museum complete with tours).
