We went on an even more epic 2600km journey over 2 days to end our grand driving season. Any later into October and snow will likely be a very real issue driving out to these remote places without a truck. So, we’re probably done for the year for road trips with the exception of short runs out to Banff and area.
Our twentieth stop was Magrath. Magrath still has a few elevators of various construction types. Very neat place, will have to explore a bit more in the future. We’ve been running from this rain cloud for quite a few kilometers since Milk River, sometimes pouring heavily but mostly just a light drizzle. A happy side effect of a lens hood is that it provides a bit of shading from the rain and reduces the amount of water droplets on the lens.
