A bit further North of Ryley is this UGG grain elevator labelled Valentine. I’m not sure if Valentine was a former town or the name of the farm. This was an unexpected find for me. You never know where you’ll run into a grain elevator that’s been moved to a small local farm. Secondary highways can only get you so far. There’s probably untold numbers of old grain elevators on private farms out in the middle of nowhere Alberta.
I am quite happy to have found this one as I don’t think there’s all that many that still says UGG on them. The only other one that comes to mind is Wetaskiwin.
