This is the infamous Cecil Hotel in Calgary Alberta. Not far from the riverfront, it was known for drugs, crime and renting out rooms by the hour. I took this when I found out that this historic landmark was going to be torn down and turned into a parking lot. Like it or not, flaws and all, it is a part of Calgary history. Sometimes things are memorable not because it was glamourous and beautiful. I like it anyway, makes it interesting.
